When Brian Hirst planted grapes and boysenberries in Ruby Bay in the 1970’s he had no idea that he would later have two daughters who would continue his legacy over 40 years later.

We firmly believe in doing our bit to help restore and enhance native bush and birdlife, we had a bit of space in our paddock, so we decided to set up a nursery and grow native seedlings.

We have a big goal to reduce our carbon use with the aim of becoming at least carbon neutral. To do this we are focusing on waste, water and energy.
