If you have chosen Juicies and Moosies as part of your shopping please read the guidelines below which outline how to ensure you get the longest possible life (if they stick around that long in your household) and keep the same flavour as when they left our factory in Nelson Tasman.

Both Juicies and Moosies will be best before 2 years from the date they are manufactured if they are kept frozen throughout their lifetime.

Moosies must always be kept frozen but with Juicies we make different types and this changes the way they can and cannot be stored, our rule of thumb if you buy it frozen keep it frozen or you will risk the Juicies exploding! Yes, you read that right, Juicies made to be kept frozen are susceptible to popping and leaking.

If you want to be able to keep Juicies in the pantry or allow them to thaw out and refreeze then be sure to buy Juicies that are sold at ambient temperatures like Juicies on the supermarket shelf and our fundraising Juicies options.
